For three years I wandered with my camera in the narrow streets of the thousand-year-old center of Saint-Maximin la Sainte-Baume in the Var forgotten by "modernity". I chose black and white photography to go deep into my emotions: the wear and tear of the stones, their beauty, the weariness of the neighbors. The energy and the resilience of life also. And the relentless beauty of the light of Provence.
