Francoise Lerusse Photography

A self-taught photographer, Françoise Lerusse currently lives in Brussels. After her literary studies, she turned to journalism and audiovisual documentaries, radio creation, and later advertising creation. During these years, she practiced photography as an amateur, having inherited this passion from her father. She also learned from professional advertising photographers. In 2017, she decided to devote herself entirely to photography.
Her work is structured around two axes. On the one hand, she explores the growing urbanization of our post-industrial world; on the other, and in a more intimate way, she reclaims her immediate environment with a strong interest in design and architecture. In both cases, her approach is marked by constant graphic and geometric research.
She has published three books, "Dans les plis du vieux village", "Chaos", "Les dernières terres " and she exhibited her work in festivals and art galleries in France and Belgium.
